New York Comic Con 2016 tickets go on sale, but this year is a little different. Anyone interested in attending NYCC this year must’ve undergone fan verification earlier this month before June 13, and must’ve received confirmation of fan verified status. If you are fan verified and didn’t get an email with unique on-sale URL, reach out to Inquiry@NYComicCon.com or 888-605-6059 before 10 AM today.
It is worth noting that fan verification provides you the opportunity to buy Tickets, but does not guarantee NYCC Tickets or the Ticket type that you desire. That’s today at noon via the unique on-sale link that would’ve been sent to your email. This link must not be shared, as there is a one transaction limit per link. If the link is being used in too many browsers, it will be flagged and become inactive.
Tickets officially go on sale on Wednesday, June 29 at 12:00 (noon) PM EDT. There will be 4-Day and 3-Day tickets, in addition to single day tickeys: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Sunday Kids Tickets. There is a limit of 4 tickets per type and 12 tickets in total. Being that NYCC 2016 Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, fan verification would not guarantee tickets.
Now here is the hard part: each ticket purchased must be assigned to a verified fan with no more than one ticket per day. This new process begins Thursday, June 30 at 12:00 PM EDT, and must be completed by July 14 at 11:59 PM EDT or your Tickets will be removed from your order and you’ll be refunded. As always, tickets are non-transferable, and being fan verified makes it easier to enforce.
New York Comic Con 2016 runs from October 6-9, 2016 at the Javits Center.
