Set Your Watches for Yo-kai Watch: The Movie!

Since last year’s holiday season, the hit franchise of Yo-kai Watch has made its westward journey from Japan with its games on Nintendo 3DS and mobile devices, the anime showing on Disney XD, and numerous toys and merchandise released for audiences around the world to enjoy the whimsical Yo-kai world. Now, with the help of film distributors Eleven Arts and Fathom Events, the franchise climbs toward yet another peak with its first English-dubbed theatrical release in North America: Yo-kai Watch: The Movie!

Yo-kai Watch: The Movie follows in line with the anime’s whimsical misadventures of middle-schooler Nate Adams (VA: Johnny Yong Bosch), his Yo-kai butler Whisper (VA: Joey D’Auria), his car-fighting cat companion Jibanyan (VA: Alicyn Packard), and the supernatural entourage of Yo-kai spirits that haunt Nate’s everyday life. In this first cinematic feature, however, things take a turn for the crazier when Nate mysteriously loses the Yo-kai Watch and must travel to the past and meet the creator of the Yo-kai Watch, someone closer to Nate than he ever could have thought. Along the way, Nate will encounter new Yo-kai like the floating cat Hovernyan and a new tribe of Wicked Yo-kai hatching a dark and sinister plan. Watch as Nate and his Yo-kai friends tackle great mysteries on this adventure; such as…

Who is Nathaniel, the creator of the Yo-kai Watch?

What kind of scheme could these Wicked Yo-kai be planning?

Kin and Gin

What on earth is this dorky dance?!

To find out, set your watches and prepare for twists, turns, and Yo-kai everywhere when Yo-kai Watch: The Movie makes its one-day-and-time only theatrical debut on Saturday, October 15 at 11AM (local time)!

Those who watch Yo-kai Watch: The Movie during this theatrical release will be given a special gift: an exclusive Hovernyan Yo-Motion Medal (while supplies last)!
