The Nintendo Switch has been revealed only 50 days before its highly anticipated launch and there are only selected locales to try it out from a six-city tour to 3 gaming conventions. PAX South is the first convention that will play host to the Nintendo Switch and Play tour.PAX South takes place in San Antonio, Texas this weekend from Jan 27 to Jan 29 with the Nintendo booth located at No. 11255.
The Nintendo line up includes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, Snipperclips: Cut it out, together!, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Bomberman R from Konami Digital Entertainment and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers from CAPCOM. The Nintendo Switch will be playable in multiple settings, such as table top mode with 1-2-Switch, tablet Mode on Splatoon 2, or television mode through the innovative action fighter, ARMS.
The Switch and Play tour continues in Toronto this weekend, along with Washington, DC, Chicago, and San Francisco before it launches on March 3. PAX South is the second stop on the tour followed by New York City’s debut on January 14, just moments after the Switch Presentation.
PAX South is the newest addition to the Penny Arcade Expo series and has grown to encompass concerts, a unique tabletop Indie Showcase, console freeplay, panels, and more.
