Camping out for the Nintendo Switch at Nintendo NY started a month early by an eager Nintendo Youtuber. Joining him was Isaiah “TriForce” Johnson who was known for being first to camp out for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii and Wii U. We didn’t want to miss out on the action so our group decided to start camping out on March 1st at 5AM; A full 43 Hours before the Midnight launch in order to secure our spot near the front of the line. Sure it wasn’t a full month but it was good enough for our group. By the evening, the Line already wrapped around to 49th st and Rockefeller Plaza. Nintendo NY also announced the final Limited Edition Zelda T-shirt and Cel Art #6 can be purchase at the midnight launch and if you were within the first 100 people lined up outside the Nintendo NY store; you had the opportunity to purchase this one of a kind The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Master Edition signed by Eiji Aonuma. Around 11:40PM, Doug Bowers, Head Sales & Marketing at Nintendo of America greeted everybody on the red carpet and started to take photos and autographs with the fans. We manged to get our NES Classic Mini system signed by him. Our Journey ended at 12:07AM when we officially brought the Nintendo Switch and Zelda: BoTW Master Edition.
